Ordnance Factory Ambajhari

Ordnance Factory Ambajhari, located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a major Indian defence production unit. It is primarily engaged in the manufacture of ammunition hardware like shells, fuzes, rockets, primers, and light metal floating bridges. Since 2021, its functions have been transferred to one of the seven new Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs).

Ordnance Factory, Muradnagar

Ordnance Factory Muradnagar, located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, is a major Indian defence production unit. It is primarily engaged in the manufacture of steel castings (both armoured and non-armoured) and forgings for military applications, including components for aerial bombs, track assemblies for T-90 tanks, and other general castings for tanks and artillery like the 155mm field gun. Since 2021, its functions have been transferred to Yantra India Limited (YIL), one of the seven new Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs).

Bharat Dynamics Ltd, Hyderabad

Bharat Dynamics Ltd, located in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a major Indian Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU). It is primarily engaged in the manufacture and supply of guided missile systems and allied defence equipment for the Indian Armed Forces. Its key products include Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) like Konkurs-M and Milan-2T, Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) like Akash, Air-to-Air Missiles (AAMs) like Astra, and Underwater Weapon Systems like Torpedoes.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Mumbai

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is primarily engaged in the construction of warships, submarines, and various commercial vessels for both domestic and international clients. It is the only shipyard in India to have built both destroyers and conventional submarines for the Indian Navy.
